• Proofreading instruction and assembly manuals for consumer goods in German and English in accordance
• Checking translated languages against German or English master files
• Working with Layout Guidelines from different clients, advise Technical Writers and/or the Technical Documentation Manager if required
• Close interaction with Technical Writers
• Work in ad-hoc project support and other duties as assigned

• Degree holder, preferably from an University, in the field of Languages, Literature, Translation, (Technical) Communication, or related fields with proven record of text work or other subjects plus editorial work experience
• Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft office
• Exemplary attention to detail and time management skills     
• Exemplary knowledge of German and English orthography, grammar, punctuation
• Willingness and ability to read high amounts of texts under time pressure full-time
• Strong team player with interpersonal and organizational skills to work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment 
• Fresh graduates will be considered, proven record of editorial or proofreading work will be an advantage
• Excellent skills in German and English
• Logical thinking and analytical mind
• Can work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
