About the client

Our client is a leading telecommunication group that provides various solutions, i.e. mobile services, data storage, cloud services, IT solutions and other more. Their business footprints have spread across the globe and ambitious to develop and expand further. Their trading volume has grown rapidly, and eager to capture the market and expand further. With the changing needs of the markets and commitment towards sustainable development & growth in the regions, they are currently looking for a Legal supporting staff to join and lead the team. The role is based in Hong Kong.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The role will be reporting to the Legal Manager, you will oversee wide range of legal matters in the firm, be one of the representatives in facing external professionals and senior management. Focus in contractual management, draft and review full spectrum of legal documents. You will support in projects and ad hoc assignments.

Other Roles and Responsibilities
 
  • Support in drafting and reviewing general commercial legal agreements and contracts, as well as industry specific legal documents, i.e. IT solutions, network procurement, sales and marketing and other more
  • Negotiate and manage different commercial matters
  • Work closely with regulatory team
  • Support in licensing and local/overseas regulatory matters
  • Perform legal, compliance and regulatory researches
Candidate profile

Possess legal education background. 3+ years of working experience in handling legal matters, preferably in telecommunication/technology/IT services/IT solutions/TMT sector. Work experience in law firms would be a plus. International exposure and global eyesight are helpful. As one of the main legal representatives of the company, you must possess excellent presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills. Fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin. Possess a strategic mindset, excellent risk awareness and being ethical. Embrace changes, flexible and open-minded.

Candidates with more experience will be considered as Assistant Manager.
