We are currently looking for a high caliber candidate to join our Facility and Environment team as “Assistant Facility & Environment Manager".

In this role, you will:

• Assist Facility & Environment Manager in ensuring utilities, environment and facilities in good conditions, and internal communication across departments supporting smooth daily operation 
• Lead a team of technicians in day-to day repair and maintenance works according to Maintenance Management System (MMS) 
• Be responsible for manpower allocation, planning, and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of Facility team
• Communicate with equipment suppliers, vendors for inquiry of spare parts, services, and technical backup 
• Manage spare parts inventory as well as sourcing from local hardware suppliers 
• Plan and implement annual inspection and maintenance for renewal of licenses, certificates as compliance for government regulation 
• Prepare preventive maintenance planning and implementation  
• Be responsible for Project management including monitoring and supervising contractors to ensure quality of work in accordance with guidelines and policies and undertake at the Company’s discretion when required
• Handle departmental budget setting and monitoring on expenses within budget 

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Higher Diploma/Degree in Engineering or related discipline (electrical/mechanical/building services etc.) 
• 3-5 years experiences in related field, preferably be familiar with projects and vendors management, budgeting and cost control (more experienced candidate will have advantage in career advancement) 
• Sound knowledges in building service equipment and facilities, preferably including cold room, VAC systems, and understanding of technical drawing and basic electrical circuit diagram 
• Familiar with Environmental and Sustainability requirements and trends
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Possess certificate of Registration of Electrical worker (Grade A or B) and valid driving license would be an advantage
• Good command of English & Cantonese and fair in Mandarin. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with innovative thinking 
• A team builder within own department and a team player across departments 
• Willing to work in flexible time when necessary
