JOB SUMMARY:

Based on Orbis’s development objectives and communications plan, the incumbent assists the implementation of approved communications projects. He or she should facilitate PR workflow, drive telemarketing campaigns, and outreach donors/ target groups in a cheerful manner.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide support to PR team in various execution of media events, exhibitions, and booth activities.
• Conduct telemarketing to drive school fundraising, responding to inquiries and carrying out fulfilments.
• Present eyecare talks or any Orbis workshops, maintain calendars and appointments.
• Produce PR materials such as translation, clippings, data research and translation.
• Increase outreach efforts with journalists, schools, and communities.
• Manage/co-ordinate interns and volunteers to implement assigned jobs.
• Provide any ad hoc support upon request.

 REQUIREMENTS:

• Post-secondary education or above, preferably with relevant experience
• Proactive and self-motivated, with positive working attitude
• Good presentation skills and telephone manner with confidence to interact with different people
• Native Cantonese speaker with good command of spoken and written English and Chinese

• 2 years contract
• Monday to Friday
• 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
