Job duties:

• Managing the translation process from the initial enquiry to follow-up and delivery to the client
• Quality control of delivered texts including detailed consistency checks
• Analysis of texts and budgeting of translation jobs
• Close cooperation with our technical documentation department and translation service providers
• Use of a translation memory system (SDL Trados)
• Creation and maintenance of terminology databases
• Localization of foreign-language texts and layout work in Adobe InDesign

• a degree in translation or linguistics
• at least 2 years professional experience in the field of translation management
• extensive experience with a translation memory system (preferably SDL Trados)
• ideally experience with Adobe InDesign
• full professional proficiency of English, knowledge of German would be an advantage
• preferably background in Technical Documentation
