Job Description
Job Duties:
- Assistant consultants/ Consultants shall support the team to complete the assigned tasks
- Prepare professional consultancy reports, proposal or presentation upon different settings of engagements in environmental assessments.
- Carry out site survey, inspections and measurements to obtain information for meeting specific project requirements
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned
- Assist in carbon, climate change-related and environmental assessments related works, such as greenhouse gas accounting, carbon management, low carbon development roadmap, or air quality impact assessment, noise impact assessment, drainage and sewerage impact assessment etc.
- Provide environmental and climate change / carbon related strategies and deliver corresponding professional consultancy services.
- Be responsible to co-ordinate and deliver project consultancy services
Requirements:
- Degree holder in engineering or science
- Minimum years of working experience: C: 3 years; AC: 1 year. Candidates with student / associate member qualifications such as HKIQEP, HKIE and HKIEIA Member would be an advantage.
- Candidates with more in-depth and relevant working experience could be considered for senior roles.
- Strong problem solving skills and negotiation skills
- Ability to undertake interdisciplinary technical work and able to work under pressure in a fast work environment
- Excellent skills in written and verbal communication (Chinese and English)
- Experience in Noise impact assessment (NoiseMap on traffic noise & railway noise and fixed noise) or Air quality impact assessment (EMFAC, Caline4, AERMOD and PATH), or other related climate modelling would be an advantage
