Injection Molding Engineer, Salary : 24-38K, 5 Days , Tsuen Wan

Role & Responsibilities:

• Reporting to Senior Material Specialist, provide technical engineering support to the material development process.
• Execute new material development tasks (mainly horizontal/vertical injection molding, extrusion compounding) from concept to testing, working closely with internal teams and vendors.
• Coordinate with all relevant parties to ensure schedule and milestones are on track.
• Lead project meetings with all concerned parties, tracking follow ups.
• Coordinates with manufacturing facilities to resolve production related matters.
• Monitor, assess and improve production efficiency and quality.
• Maintain an archive of material specifications and signed samples.
• Maintain an archive of engineering documents such as BOM, MSDS, etc.
• Quality Assurance/Quality Control
• Occasionally assist teammates of laboratory to complete testing.
• Provide technical support to R&D, production and quality teams on Quality Assurance and Quality Control efforts.

Requirements:

• Tertiary education or equivalent, in product/production engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years relevant engineering/manufacturing experience, preferably gained from injection molding.
• Technical know-how and seasoned experience of plastic injection molding. With know-how of extrusion is preferred.
• Experience in apparel/backpack goods manufacturing is an advantage.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Creo, Solidworks, Illustrator is a preferred.
• Located in Hong Kong

Material Research Assistant/ Executive, Salary : 20-32K, 5 Days , Tsuen Wan
(  a global leader in the trims & accessories industry for sporting goods )

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting to Senior Material Specialist, provide technical engineering support to the material development process.
• Perform paper research on polymer, green materials, 3D-printing materials, etc.
• Operate analytical instrument, e.g. FTIR, DSC, POM, MFI, etc
• Record experimental data, generate test result and maintain database
• Assist in new method development for assessing new material formulation
• Actively participate in Safety, health & environment program to ensure a high standard of workplace safety and hygiene.
• Occasionally assist teammates of injection molding workshop to complete molding trials.

•  Major in Chemistry, Material Science, Chemical Engineering or any other science & engineering disciplines (Higher Diploma holder with related experience acceptable too)
•  2 years or above of working experience in lab / relevant places
• Proficient in MS office (Excel, PowerPoint & Word). Experience with data analysis
•  With knowledge of injection molding is preferred
•   Eligible to work in HK preferred
• Candidates have less exp also will be consider as Assistant 

• Holder of high diploma or degree.
• At least 5 years working experience in quality assurance supervision on consumer electronic products.
• With past working experience in ISO-9001 and operation in China factory.
• Familiar with UL, CE international safety standard operation and document control.
• Good in spoken of Putonghua and good in written of Chinese. Fair in spoken and written in English. Good knowledge of computer skill.
• Return to HK once a week by High Speed Rail.
