Duties

The appointee will be working under project manager and contributing to our exemplary technical research and development (R&D) work, including experimental design, sample preparation, characterization, prototyping, data analysis, performance testing, drafting reports, standard operating procedures and patent filings.

Common activities will include:

1. Develop and prepare next generation polymer-based anti-microbial materials via twin-screw extrusion.
2. Optimize the physical properties, functional reliability, and cost down of developed materials.
3. Perform antibacterial test of developed samples.
4. Literature and regulatory documents review.
5. Characterize and analyse samples using DSC, TGA, Tensile, IR, contact angle, SEM etc.

Qualifications for this post include:

1. Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Polymer Science, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines.
2. Ability to clearly communicate findings through reports and presentations.
3. Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated requiring minimal supervision.
4. The ideal candidate will be positive minded to challenges and uncertainties, take initiative to learn and solve the technical issues by exploring internal and external resources, and able to work well as part of a larger team.
5. The renewal of contract is subject to mutual agreement based on performance.
6. Willingness to occasional travel as needed to project sites (Huizhou, China)
