As an R&D Engineer, you will be exposed to a broad spectrum of work from researching advanced topics to designing systems to validating technologies. You will be challenged to think outside the box and propose original ideas that will excel the company.

Key responsibilities

• Research on topics like artificial muscles, shape-memory alloys and compliant mechanisms
• Study the feasibility of new technologies
• Perform engineering calculations
• Draft design specifications
• Design and model mechanical, electrical and control systems
• Run simulations and FEA
• Develop prototypes
• Validate technologies

Education

• Engineering degree in mechanical, mechatronic, electrical, material, aerospace or other related fields.
• PhD, Master's and Undergraduate Degrees will be considered.

Critical competencies

• Self-motivated and able to work independently or as a team
• Highly analytical and able to solve complex problems
• Proficient in CAD software, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Experience

• 0 to 5 years in engineering design.
• New graduates will be considered.
