The incumbent will be responsible to independently procure, manage and implement charter flight operations for the DB Schenker group worldwide. This position takes a leading and responsible role in management the air freight charter business for the Global Air Freight network.

Your tasks:

• Operational handling and implementation of airfreight charter flights on behalf of civil and government customers, particularly controlling and timing of service providers for air and road transportation booking of aircrafts as well as planning and monitoring of the flights.
• Operation and monitoring of DB Schenker own controlled capacity flights (Flight OPS) and single ad-hoc flights
• Independent development of time critical transport solutions, especially in the field of air charter flights, including combination with scheduled flight services
• Sourcing of suitable air charter flights as per network requirements and issuing of charter contracts
•  Consulting and bid proposal management for internal domestic and foreign customers
• Continuous monitoring and improvement of processes
• Operational supervision and consultation on air charter business of regular customers and global key accounts
• Building relationships with Cargo Operators to ensure access to the widest range of aircraft available to provide solutions for our customers

• Degree holder or above in Freight Forwarding, Aviation Management or relevant studies
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in freight forwarding industry with minimum 3 years in managerial level
• Sound understanding of Air Freight industry, business and processes
• knowledge of the global air charter market with regards to operators and aircraft types
• Good in communication and proactive and creative problem solver
• Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Regional Manager
• Work location: Tsing Yi
