Job Description

The Regional Account Manager is a field sales role responsible for both direct client contract value retention as well as growth through contract expansion and the introduction of new products and services. They work with clients and prospects in a specified territory to ensure they understand and receive maximum value from their First Advantage services. Grow our business by engaging C-level and D-level executive clients and prospects while maintaining a quota within a specific territory. Retain current clients while working to increase their satisfaction and account growth. They are strong leaders, leading all others towards the desired account direction, change and growth and ultimately client success.

This role is responsible for:

  • Consult and work with senior executives, including C & D-suite, to develop and implement an effective, enterprise-wide strategy that maximizes the value delivered by First Advantage’s products and services.
  • Strategic account management approach with exceptional skills in expectation management towards outcome of increased customer satisfaction and increase in retention & account growth.
  • Quota responsibility of contract value within a territory of major account sized client accounts, with strong focus on growth accounts and finding opportunities to scale.
  • Deep understanding and consistent execution of First Advantage’s internal sales methodology.
  • Proficient in account planning and execution; and strong understanding of territory management.
  • Run forecast accuracy on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
  • Maintain competitive knowledge & focus.

Well suited to a high-energy autonomous individual with diverse set of skills including ability to identify and create lasting and trusting relationships, joint strategy development with business direction, contract negotiation with great communication skills and excellent problem solving skills.

 
Required Education, Competencies and Characteristics

  • Min 5 years of work experience with minimum 2 years of significant experience and achievement in consultative sales, preferably experience in financial, compliance, high technology solution with evidence of prior success in growing both new and existing offerings.
  • Client partner – ability to prospect, create and manage executive relationships of medium and large organizations, especially of matrix reporting and governing structure, ability to achieve the state of trusting client relationship.
  • Ability to develop solid account management plan and seeing through the implementation; and strong knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process from prospecting to closing successfully.
  • Team player – proven capability in engaging and collaborating with key stakeholders from cross-functional teams (Operations, Customer Care, Product, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Compliance) to achieve client success.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills – demonstrate knowledge of First Advantage’s services and solutions, and ability to present ideas effectively; articulate processes when required, and communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders, while also have the ability to present and articulate processes when required. Lead regular business and service review calls with clients effectively and satisfactorily.
  • Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence and entrepreneurial acumen.
  • Strong problem solving skills and always enjoy resolving a challenge.
  • Ability to work on tight timelines, well organized, detail oriented, adaptable to changing requirements/ work environment.
  •  Language requirements as resolved by territory needs.
  •  Act with integrity and respect for all.
