ROLE:

 Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the market to ensure best value and practices are maintained for all Categories - IT , Software , Subcontracting and Indirect .  Developing a procurement business plan for the organisation and ensuring that’s it’s communicated.  Forecasting ongoing demand for goods and services.  Negotiating contracts and service agreements with suppliers for all categories.  Acting as the main contact point for organisational procurement related questions.  Researching options to source best value products and services.  Forecasting price trends and predicting how they will affect the organisation.  Running RFPs and evaluating bids before making recommendations that make the most commercial sense for the organisation.  Ensuring contract files are stored and maintained securely and according to legal requirements.  Creating and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels internally as well as current and new suppliers.  Developing strategies to ensure that supplier performance is monitored.  Ongoing Review of contracts to ensure they represent best value.  Ensuring procurement sources are secure and sustainable.
