Job Description
Project Officer (Education and Services Team)
Requirements:
‧ Master in Counselling or equivalent will be compulsory;
‧ At least 3 years’ solid working experience in Psychology or Counselling Service or a related field (less experience will not been considerate);
‧ Believe in the values and works of Joyful (Mental Health) Foundation;
‧ Detailed-mind, proactive, enthusiastic at work, willing to embrace and overcome challenges and capable to work under tight deadlines, increasing service demand in the form of diversity;
‧ Good team player and able to maintain rapport relationship with Team Manager, Project Officer, Counsellors, Hotline Volunteers and Interns;
‧ Patient, polite and tactful in working with internal and external stakeholders, with a caring heart to serve in a NGO’s setting;
‧ Exposure in handling of suicidal prevention or emotion hotline support is an advantage;
‧ Strong interpersonal skill with good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
‧ Proficiency in software applications, such as word processing and Microsoft Office;
Key responsibilities:
‧ Responsible for daily operations of Services Team, including resources and project management, organize and planning for team development and other duties assigned by supervisors;
‧ Daily management of Volunteers, Hotline Volunteers and Clients’ database / analysis;
‧ To have collaboration works with all colleagues in JMHF including Promotion Team and Admin Team;
‧ To organize events with local district NGOs / governmental agencies / Schools / Collages and responsible as a trainer in psycho-education activities;
‧ To assist Team Manager to plan and organize education and services programs / events;
‧ Acting in-charge when the Manager is absent and to execute procedures / guideline after appointment for the services team;
‧ To assist in translation of professional psychological documents (Chinese and English).
