• Recruit and train new volunteers;
• Arrange rostering and keep scheduling of volunteers;
• Coordinate, develop and mobilize volunteers for both Welcome and Connect Team and Hosts and Counting team;
• Develop onboarding process for new volunteers. Match volunteers to opportunities that suit their skill sets and ensuring they understand their responsibilities and receive the proper training;
• Appoint and train team leaders for volunteer teams;
• Establish a Sundays Volunteer Core Team and provide pastoral care for volunteers;
• Assist Ministry Life Pastor to provide a wider Vine volunteer strategy & communication plan. Coordinate volunteers’ connection points and opportunities regularly;
• Maintain a database of Newcomers and keep track of the connection points;
• Be the point person coordinating “first contacts” for new first time guests;
• Collaborate with Services Team to coordinate Newcomers Sunday Lunches & Forward Together;
• Partner with Community Groups team to oversee connect hub;
• Participate fully in Pastoral Team and Ministry Life Team’s activities including meetings, intercession meetings and devotions.

Job Requirement

• Experience in volunteering and recruitment.
• Working knowledge of databases management.
• Able to communicate effectively with diverse people.
• Excellent organization and team coordination skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Pleasant and outgoing.
