The Foundation has
two Visions: One is to encourage students and social volunteers to improve the lives of underprivileged villagers in rural areas of China by initiating and implementing sustainable development
projects. The other is to provide an opportunity for volunteers and villagers to develop their mutual understanding and improve communication, so to foster friendship and build spiritual bridges. The
Mission of the Foundation is to foster better mutual understanding between the young people in Hong Kong and the Mainland for sustainable development in underprivileged areas of China and beyond.
The signature programme of Wu Zhi Qiao was to construct footbridge to solve accessibility and mobility of villagers in remote areas, while the rammed earth building programme was established in 2010 to demonstrate eco-dwelling technique.
