About this team
Inbound logistics origin team is overseeing the Global Transportation from manufacturing factory locations in Asia to distribution centre locations worldwide including North America, Europe, and Asia (Hong Kong, Shanghai and Melbourne). The goal for the team is to ensure the shipment will be delivered to the right place on schedule according to our business needs.

A day in the life:

• Familiar with daily operations in Asia origins focusing on China
• Accountable for PO predictability and handle end-to-end process from factory handover to arrival estimation within our DCs
• Responsible in ensuring an effective shipping order and approval process to achieve OTP
• Good communication with footwear agent to understand the capacity and capability of vendors to make sure they can deliver the right product and on time, escalate potential issues to support teams
• Work closely with the vendors on lululemon production and logistics policies, processes and IT systems, and able to apply this within internal timelines
• Create and modify footwear SOP if needed.  The context should include production check-in, quality assurance and inbound logistics compliances
• High collaborative spirit working with our internal and external partners to enhance daily freight efficiencies, and supporting initiatives if needed
• Organised and responsible individual who can respond to changes accordingly
• Understands origin spend and localised export procedures
• Advise and mitigate risks that may arise from changing market situation
• Coordinate and support performance reviews with service providers

• 5-8 years plus working experience within logistic operations in a multi-national company
• University graduate in logistics management or related disciplines is preferred
• Computer literate (Microsoft office applications and outlook), ideally you are an MS Excel guru (V Lookup and Pivot Table knowledge is essential)! And you love working with a lot of Microsoft Office, Tradestone and GTNexus!
• An understanding and practical knowledge of retail environment and international transportation
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin
• Experience in the production field with logistics passion is a plus
