Background: My client is a multinational and reputable Technology Service Consulting Firm who is now looking for an experienced Technical Operation Manager to join them

Job Scope:

• Possess both ICT equipment implementation and Data Centre Operation experience
• Responsible for managing Data Centre operations 
• Conduct regular performance review of the data centre team of technicians
• Ensure all operational KPIs and metrics are being measured and met
• Capable of managing multi-networking infrastructures, systems, links and facilities required for providing Telco WAN, data, voice, hosting, cloud and internet services.
• Maintain and update rack space and power usage, records, procurement and decommission 
• Create and maintain documentation including requirements, design and user manuals
• Analyze business requirements raised from customer and turn into project requirement in Data Center environment
• Responsible for processes improvement and strategies with technology solutions
• Support the Technical Director for the Data Centre operations and maintenances activities of network infrastructure POPs, and in-country customer fronting & support.
• Provide post-operations support to corporate customers.
• Promote, drive working relationships with local carriers/ service providers, Joint-Venture Partners, equipment vendors to build/influence good rapport.
• Support the Technical Director to manage operation related costs (Capex and Opex) within allocated budget.

Requirement:

• Degree in Electronic/Telecommunication/ICT or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 - 5 Years related working experience in telecommunication service industry
• Well familiar with Data Centre rack space and power usage standards
• Knowledge of network topology (SW-defined networks, WAN, data, wireless, hosting, cloud, security and internet)) is required.
• Knowledge of Data Centre operations and ISO27001 would be an advantage.
• CCNA certification, JUNOC technical certification, or equivalent would be an advantage.
• Resourceful, innovative and independent worker.
• High customer service focus and engagement skills.
• Possess good leadership, teamwork, effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese
• Experienced in managing a small team and provide mentorship & guidance
