Job Description

Assistant IT Officer II in the Computing Services Centre (Appointment for 12 months) [Ref. D/R/118/03]

The Computing Services Centre (CSC) at City University of Hong Kong manages the University's Information Technology infrastructure and services covering Data Centre Operations, Cloud and System Hosting, Research Computing and High-Performance Computing, Communication and Networking, Workspace and Audio-Visual Technologies, and other related IT functions to support the University's operations. The Centre has about 110 staff and contractors currently.

Duties

Transfer DNS application forms to electronic copies in SharePoint;
Generate reports; and
Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

5 passes in HKCEE/HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics;
At least 2 years’ post-qualification work experience, 1 of which should preferably be clerical experience;
Being reliable, self-motivated, detail-oriented with strong sense of ownership;
Good communication, analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team; and
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese are required.
