Big Bang Academy is an award-winning EdTech Media company revolutionizing STEAM education for kids age 3-12! Our vision is to empower and inspire self-driven learning by creating hands-on experiences as compelling as movies, as fun as theme parks while as educational as classrooms.

As a full-stack software engineer, you’ll

• Build and own our core products - the web-based educational app Big Bang Lab
• Work closely with the product team to research, ideate, and co-create user journey
• Build, ship and maintain a full stack of software that runs in ReactJS, NodeJs, MongoDB
• Develop new features for kids, parents and teachers
• Have the chance to explore data analytics and AI/ big data development!

We need YOU!

We are looking for someone who has hands-on experience in developing single page applications—including frontend and backend (ReactJS, NodeJs), experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB), and is curious to explore different languages, frameworks, libraries.

You like to work in all phases of a rapid product development lifecycle. You are familiar with (or passionate to learn) Agile methodologies, Scrum, Kanban, and interested in learning more about Design Thinking, Lean Start-up, TDD, BDD.

You are a self-initiated and self-directed learner who enjoys problem-solving, has good communication skills and enjoys teamwork. You should also be ambitious, driven, open-minded and happy to embrace constant change. Most importantly, enjoy start-up culture
