Responsibilities:

• Assess the intrinsic and perceived hazards of given risks based on data analytical result
• Create and maintain risk profile and technical underwriting directives for formulation of business risk strategy
• Assist to formulate reinsurance strategies and program aligning to the company’s underwriting strategies and risk management objectives.
• Manage daily operations of reinsurance inward and outward activities.
• Provide analytical support for process, product optimization of the department
• Assist in IA reporting, provide RBC related or other industrial statistics
• Conduct quality assurance to check the accuracy of underwriting information to ensure that the risk is contract certain.
• Any ad hoc project as assigned.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor Degree holder or above, actuarial major preferred
• 1 year relevant working experience in underwriting/ reinsurance.
• Experience as data scientist/ data analyst.
• Possession of ACII/ ANZIIF (Snr Assoc) is preferred.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, especially in Excel, SQL, VBA, Macro preferred.
