Job Description

Job Scope
As a seasoned Life and Critical Illness Underwriting Manager, you have the important role of overseeing large sizable cases, team and resource management, partake in ad-hoc improvement projects. When necessary, you will be expected to be hands-on in processing different cases.

This role offers a wide range of exposure, and excellent team culture.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement underwriting and operational framework, policies, guideline and process.
  • Set up and implement underwriting guidelines and new business procedures
  • Determine and monitor underwriting and operational rules and guidelines to ensure continuous market competitiveness
  • Review and verify customer due diligence and record - keeping and other AML & CTF duties that are carried out by the staff members are in accordance with the Operating Guideline and Procedures for AML & CTF, the Company's Internal Guideline on AML & CTF, and the relevant law and regulations, and report any suspicion to the MLRO.


Requirements

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry (especially in Life and Critical Illness underwriting and operations fields)
  • Strong communication skills, influencing skills, and organizational
  • Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI)
  • University Degree
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
