The Job:

The successful candidate reports to the CEO of the Group and is the leader overseeing all business operations including institutional catering and restaurant chains, developing and implementing strategies for business growth. This role will be supervising all front of house and kitchen staff ensuring top quality food and service and delivering the best customer experience.

Major activities include:

l    Develop and implement business strategies, oversee all operations functions and staff to ensure smooth running of the business across all outlets within the Group.

l    Develop and monitor the quantity and quality service standards for all dining outlets and brands.

l    Monitor budget, business plans and promotional activities, drive sales growth and profit while managing operating expenses control.

l    Manage all customer complaints and requests and inquiries, close out loose ends and ensure speedy improvements in enhancing customer experience. 

l    Oversee property management of all outlets and backend logistics distribution.

l    Ensure all legislative requirements, not only health and safety related issues, are complied with.

l    Drive cross department collaboration among all teams to achieve teamwork and operating efficiency as well as foster corporate culture.

l    Lead product development and technology to ensure continuous improvement and innovation in products and services.

The Person:

l    Degree in Hotel Management, Catering or related disciplines

l    Minimum 15 years of experience in food & beverage industry, preferably in hotels, restaurant chains or similar environment

l    Experience and exposure to western, Chinese and international cuisines and banquet

l    Strong business acumen, analytical and communication skills

l    Proven leadership and interpersonal skills, able to work with all levels of staff and external business partners

l    Agile, independent and able to work under pressure

l    Demonstrated abilities in strategic planning, budgeting, business planning and reviews

l    Strong decision making and problem solving, managing conflicts

l    Excellent written & spoken English and Chinese
