Our company seeks an experienced and capable Production Manager with the technical knowledge to manage production teams within a precision-focused, IS013485  manufacturing environment for a reputable medical devices client. The ideal candidate will have experience within similar production environments and be ready to take on new projects from the get-go. We focus on small-scale, quality driven production projects that our customers can trust will always be delivered 'on time and to spec'.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily factory production operations with quality output
• Contribute to planning on production schedules 
• Delegate and assign work tasks to production staff to achieve set manufacturing targets
• Deal with any issues in the process whilst fulfilling production plans
• Follow through and lead on standard operating procedures for all production activities
• Contribute in potential improvements 
• Monitor stock levels and ensure these are managed in line with production plans
• Review daily production schedules and ensure compliance to both standards and timelines 
• Liaise with the Operations Manager, Manufacturing Director and other teams to update, progress and deliver projects
• Maintain a safe, secure and clean working environment which meets the quality standards and company / customer expectations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management or related discipline
• At least 8 years of solid experience in Electronic Manufacturing, preferably in a tightly controlled medical devices / instrumentation environment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills. Fluency in Cantonese & English is required to liaise with different stakeholders, Mandarin would be an additional advantage
• Strong leadership skills, strong interpersonal skills as well as analytic and problem-solving skills
• Hong Kong citizen/resident or other immigration status with no restrictions for work in HK preferred, but visa sponsorship may be considered on merit
• We are open to engage expatriates returning from other countries to settle in Hong Kong as well as those settling here currently
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Factory Manager
