Job Description

Responsibilities:
In view of the rapid expansion and continuous growth of the Corporation, we are looking for a high-calibre to support the Business Development team bringing the top-notch global Innovation and Technology (I&T) companies to set up research and development operation in HKSTP.
Major responsibilities are listed below:
  • Proactively connect, engage and attract targeted international start-ups & scales-ups with leading innovations and technologies to set up research activities in Hong Kong Science Park (“HKSP”)
  • Establish a robust pipeline to support China’s Dual Circulation strategy
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationship with related government bodies, high-tech companies, startup communities, etc. increase the visibility of HKSTP in the international I&T start-up communities, serve as the eyes, ears and voice of HKSTP
  • Closely monitor innovation landscape, policies and public & private funding mechanisms of responsible market segments & Hong Kong
  • Organize engagement programs and host delegation visits to promote HKSP as an innovation and technology hub to key stakeholders
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with minimum 10 years of experience in working with MNCs, I&T start-ups ecosystem, R&D institutes, industry associations, or related.
  • Strong business development skill in international marketand a deep understanding of its technology landscape is a plus
  • Diplomatic, self-initiated, independent, goal-getting, collaborative, customer-oriented
  • Professional analytical skills and good command of presentation skills
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
  • Occasional business travel may be required
  • Ability to work and collaborate in team environment
  • Commencing position will be commensurate with qualifications, relevant experience and competencies
