The Assistant Manager will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of projects and events targeting members and other stakeholders in pursuing HKIB mission in the sustainable development of banking professionals in Hong Kong.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of projects and events covering conferences, awards, topical seminars, networking events, career talks for secondary and universities students, as well as government funded activities.
• Responsible for all pre and post-events’ activities including promotion, invitation, enrolment, payment, evaluation, management reporting, etc. and work closely with other teams to ensure these activities are properly executed.
• Manage membership and event database and ensure data accuracy for executing and implementing overall membership act5vities on engagement, recruitment and retention.
• Solicit cross-team support and collaborate with vendors to ensure smooth execution of projects and events.
• Any ad-hoc projects or tasks assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements

• University degree holder or above, preferably in marketing or event management
• Minimum 5 years of experience preferably in marketing, event management or membership
• Knowledge and exposure in the banking & finance industry, as well as experience in work on government projects would be advantageous
• Strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment with critical deadlines
• Energetic, self-motivated, resourceful, and result oriented
• Excellent command in both written and spoken English and Chinese
• less experience candidates can be considered as Senior Officer
