Job Overview
The Media Technician / Media Transform Operator is responsible for potential audio/video editing for client delivery, proxy file creation for subtitle and caption file creation, and media specs identification and troubleshooting
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
- Encode audio/video assets from any available source asset to specification using the prescribed workflows and equipment
- Perform audio/video editing, layback and standards conversion using the prescribed workflows and equipment
- Perform delivery of assets via accelerated digital delivery mechanisms using the prescribed workflows and equipment
- Maintain an up to the minute accurate account of production and task status in our job management systems
Must be able to demonstrate:
- Demonstrate the ability to multitask
- Demonstrate the ability to detect audio video errors
- Understanding of encoders and transcoders
- Understanding of “Non Linear Editors”
- Understanding of digital file transport services
Requirements
- Audio/Video certifications/degrees preferred or equivocal work experience
- Subject to proficiency test related to digital media
- Knowledge and experience in Adobe Premiere, Photoshop
- Shift duty is required
