INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES OFFICE
Assistant Specialist / Technical Assistant (Multimedia & Video) (Ref. 22052415)
[Appointment period: twelve months]
Duties
The appointee will be required to:
(a) provide general visual outputs support for websites, social media and publications in print and electronic forms;
(b) apply production techniques for gathering footage for use in field production;
(c) apply appropriate post-production techniques using audio-video editing software, digital graphics software, animation software, etc. for processing footage and other resources to produce contents for use;
(d) provide administrative or technical support to enhance work efficiency in the office; and
(e) perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of the Office or his delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) a recognised degree or diploma in Multimedia, Digital Media Design, Creative Media or a related discipline;
(b) preferably two years’ relevant experience;
(c) a good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese; and
(d) good communication and interpersonal skills.
Preference will be given to those with experience in using Final Cut Pro, Adobe premiere Pro, After Effects, Motion, Compressor and frame.io for post-production works.
Candidates with lower qualification or less experience will be considered for the post of Technical Assistant. Fresh graduates will also be considered.
Remuneration
