Job Description
Role and Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day application support to internal users
• Lead a small team to design and develop new system implementations and enhancements of existing systems • Take the lead to troubleshoot, identify and resolve technical problems • Manage the API platform and provide support on data migration, data conversion and system integration activities
• Responsible for release management and version control to support the rollout of system changes
• Manage post-implementation support and ongoing enhancements to both in-house developed systems and off-the-shelf systems
• Work closely and maintain good relationship with vendors and business users to ensure timely support on daily operations and system enhancement
• Actively communicate progress to manager and key stakeholders
Qualifications and Required Attributes:
• Recognized degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines
• Over 5 years hands-on experience in application development using Java/MS .Net and MS SQL/Oracle Database • Experience in data migration, data integration and API platform • Experience in any of the followings will be an advantage:
o Supporting PeopleSoft applications or Programming in PeopleCode
o Reporting solutions like SSRS, Oracle BI Publisher, etc.
o Mobile Apps development o Sitecore content management system
o ETL tools, e.g. Pentaho
o Microsoft Dynamics CRM
• Experience in supporting parallel projects in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment
• Good problem solving skills, able to work independently and under pressure
• Good communication skills in both English and Chinese
