Responsibilities:

• Engage with different business units to understand the challenges and identify possible solutions.
• Building, training, evaluation models such as retention, risk, fraud, etc.
• Knowledge & statistics sharing and mentoring direct reports
• Collect data from different sources to enhance understanding of data trends.
• Investigate tools for real-time analysis, time series trends, etc.
• Production environment machine learning and AI is a plus

 Technical Skills:

• Experience in interactive data exploration and data-driven storytelling
• Understanding and application of Big Data and distributed computing principles (Hadoop and MapReduce).
• Strong analytical and statistical knowledge with an understanding of the latest machine learning algorithms for both unstructured and structured data

Requirement:

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or other related disciplines.
• Experience using other statistical programming languages such as Python, SQL, and Hive.
• At least 3 years of professional experience with analytic projects.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Operates with little supervision in a complex, dynamic, matrixed environment. Able to handle multiple tasks at one time.
• Understanding current industry challenges and trends at the level needed to identify business needs and opportunities proactively.
• Proven track record and ability to mentor and supervise junior resources on a project assignment basis
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Data Scientist
