Job Responsibilities

• Accountable for the overall material planning, warehousing and shipping management in the factory;
• Overview and monitor the systems and practices in the process of production planning, scheduling, material planning and controlling;
• Liaise with production, marketing, engineering and strategic sourcing to coordinate materials management so as to optimize resources utilization;
• Review policy and standard operations procedure guidelines for material and inventory management functions and assure all related activities are accomplished; 
• Maintain a running stock of materials to meet the operation needs of the business, control inventory;
• Prepare material management budgets and maintain detailed records concerning material procurement;
• Arrange stock take on regular basis;
• Regular calls with customers on material planning and production plan status.

Job Requirements

• Degree in logistics, or manufacturing engineering, operations management, or equivalent;
• A minimum of 10 years’ working experience in production & materials planning & control, preferably with electrical products industry;
• Overseas experience would be preferred;
• Familiar with manufacturing environment and exposure to MNC;
• Proven track record in material planning and control, inventory stock level control for both material and finish goods and injection machine planning;
• Good command of both spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin;
• Good communication and negotiation skills;
• Preferred to have knowledge and experience in LEAN manufacturing;
• Immediate available is preferable;
• Station in Dongguan factory.  Frequent travel to Bangkok Thailand plant is required;
• Responsible to provide Ramp up planning, PO handling and shipment directly with customer;
• Work with Quality for customer inspection and factory audit.
