(1)  Laboratory Director (MLT Part I)

Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for overseeing all Biomarkers research projects of the Group
• Ensure smooth operation of the research laboratory including management of inventory, maintenance & repair of equipment
• Manage laboratory safety and laboratory accreditation matters
• Ensure compliance with all current laboratory standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements
• Identify potential new areas of growth for the laboratory
• Perform ad-hoc projects and duties as assigned

Requirements:

• For PhD’s Degree holder in Biomedical Sciences, Medical Laboratory Science or related disciplines, at least 5 years’ relevant medial testing experience; For Master’s Degree holder in Medical Laboratory related disciplines, at least 8 years’ relevant medial testing experience. 
• Registered Medical Laboratory Technologist in Part I with a valid practicing license
• Sound knowledge in molecular genomics diagnosis and/or molecular laboratory operation
• Familiar with Good Laboratory Practice & ISO documentation
• Experience in implementation of ISO15189:2012 quality management system 

(2)  Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT Part II)

       Responsibilities: 

• Perform molecular laboratory tests  
• Conduct equipment maintenance and calibration
• Conduct equipment maintenance and calibration
• Responsible for keeping inventory and maintaining laboratory record/documentation
• Good Laboratory practices and required to comply with all current laboratory standard operating procedures
• Support research and development of new technologies
• Perform ad-hoc projects and duties as assigned

 Requirements:

• Degree or above in Biomedical Sciences, Biochemistry, Medical Laboratory Science or a related discipline
• 1 years’ relevant experience is preferred. Fresh graduates are welcome
• Registration with the Hong Kong Medical Laboratory Technologist Board Part II with a valid practicing license
• Knowledge in molecular diagnosis and/or molecular laboratory operation
• Good knowledge of and solid experience in molecular techniques, such as DNA/RNA extraction, real-time PCR and Next Generation Sequencing (NGS)
• Experienced in tissue slide immunohistochemistry staining will be an advantage
• Self-motivated and willing to learn 
•  Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
