Position Open: Audiological Technician (Product Specialist／Sales)

The responsibilities of an Audiological Technician (Clinical) include:
 Interview patients to learn their symptoms and medical histories;
 Conduct screenings and tests to determine the severity and type of hearing impairment;
 Analyze test findings to make diagnoses, then discuss possible solutions with patients;
 Recommend and dispense hearing aids;
 Instruct patients in how to use and maintain the hearing aids, providing demonstrations and information;
 Assist audiologists with nonsurgical procedures designed to treat hearing disorders;
 Modify hearing devices / custom appliances to provide better fitting;
 Teach patients aural rehabilitation techniques;
 Receive continuing education and read professional publications to stay up-to-date on medical knowledge and techniques.

The responsibilities of an Audiological Technician (Service) include:
 Basic production of Ear-Mould, Earplug & Custom shell (3D Modeling & Printing)
 Basic Hearing aid / device check-up & repair work;
 Basic Audiological Equipment check-up, repair work & calibration;
 Logistic service & Stock control;
 Modify hearing devices / custom appliances to provide better fitting;
 Assist Technical Manager on daily operation.

Qualification

 Secondary 6 or above, with an emphasis in science and technology
 Sales or health-related knowledge and experience preferred, but not required (Clinical technician)
 Repair or 3D modelling & printing related knowledge and experience preferred, but not required (Service technician)
 Excellent communication and people skills
 Good commands in Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin) and English
