Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Supervise an analytical team of a HOKLAS accredited laboratory to perform sampling and testing duties
• Conduct physical and chemical testing on water, wastewater, food, Chinese medicine,  and other samples
• Operate analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC/MS, LC-MS/MS, etc.
• Perform QC tests, equipment calibration, stock maintenance of testing material according to the HOKLAS requirements
• Maintain quality system of the laboratory and prepare or revise HOKLAS documents such as standard operating procedures (SOP)
• Provide consultancy / audit services for IAQ/ISO 22000/HACCP
• Search for technical information and validate new test methods to meet customer's requirements
• Perform other laboratory-related works as assigned.

Requirements and Experience

• B.Sc. or above in Chemistry /  Analytical Science  / Environmental Science / Food Science or equivalent
• 3 years laboratory experience preferably in the field of environmental / food / Chinese medicine testing
• Familiar with laboratory management system such as HOKLAS / ISO 17025 
• Responsible, initiative, and good team player
• Good in Cantonese and English
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Chemist or Trainee
