Job Description

Department of Curriculum and Instruction

Project Title: Investigating Primary School Teachers' E-assessment Practices, Intentions and Influencing Factors in the New Normal: Implications for Developing E-assessment Policy
[Appointment Period: 12 months]

The appointee will be responsible for supporting research projects. He/she will assist in searching the literature, analyzing survey and interview data, writing the reports, managing administrative work, supervising part-time student helpers, and performing other duties as assigned by the project leader. The appointment will be for a period of 12 months.

For the post of Senior Research Assistant, applicants should have a Master’s Degree in Education, Psychology, or other related disciplines plus one year’s post master’s degree full-time working experience, or a doctorate. For the post of Research Assistant I, applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Psychology, or other related disciplines.

They should be proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese, self-motivated, and willing to learn to handle unfamiliar tasks. The knowledge and research experience related to STEM education or feedback will be advantages.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract. Fringe benefits include contract-end gratuity, leave, medical and dental benefits.
