• To participate in design, development, implementation and maintenance of application systems;
• To assist in IT Managers in IT projects and liaise with external vendors and internal counterparties;
• To assist the team in formulating Fintech/Digital solution strategy;
• To perform technical study / analysis and development on latest technologies;
• To prepare documentation on requirements, functional and technical specifications;
• To deliver high-quality solutions in compliance with group standards; and
• To handle other ad hoc projects, help-desk, application first-line support and other duties as required.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related disciplines;
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT applications development, preferably in the life insurance industry;
• Solid experience in full-stack Java technology, Unix, Oracle database and web development (e.g. J2EE, CSS, HTML5, React.js, Microservices);
• Good team player, proactive with problem-solving skills; and
• Able to work under pressure and tight schedule.

Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Senior Associate.
