Responsibilities:

• Support, maintain and lead the implementation of projects, and provide technical and operational support to both internal and external customers' enquiries regarding transmission network issues;
• Support daily transmission network troubleshooting, operation and scheduled maintenance;
• Support, coordinate and implement transmission network activities including but not limited to normal and ad-hoc restoration and normalization works;
• Provide technical and service support to the Network Operations Center when required;
• Perform network and operation acceptance in transmission network;
• Analyst network performance and capacity utilization;
• Manage and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to maintain quality performance and effective operational costs;
• Produce engineering, planning and operations document when requited;
• Provide technical and operational support including Emergency Call-Out (ECO) when required.

Requirements:                       

• Degree holder in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or related disciplines;
• Experience with Global Carrier, Data Center / Telecom Operators / Sizeable network operators / vendors;
• Knowledge and work experience in transmission and Ethernet network and services including DWDM, SDH / SONET, Ethernet Technologies and protocols;
• Holder of CCNA will be advantageous;
• Team player with initiatives, eager to learn and deliver, and good communication skills.
