Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day duties, such as following up on development and sample orders, work with customer & team to get the work done within a deadline.
• Coordinate - Maintain continuous and agile communication with design, production merchandising, Logistic & third-party partners to align and synchronize content.
• Coordinating Sample Development with factories to ensure final product is as per customer requirements.
• Assist on production planning with Sales / Merchandising for product style, quantity, delivery date etc. for factory planner to gauge the capacity for bulk production.
• Calculate costings through existing tools and maintenance of database.
• Maintain relationship & smooth communication with suppliers.
• Ad hoc assignments for communication and certification purpose (FSC, OEKO TEX, etc)

Requirements

• 2-3 years of relevant experience working a R&D / Product Merchandiser.
• Higher Diploma in Textile Merchandising, Fashion Technology, or related discipline.
• Good communication skills in spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin preferably).
• Proficiency in PC skills, such as MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT) - Chinese and English word processing.
• Good analytical skills.
• Capability to prioritize work and manage several projects at a time.
• Prior knowledge in printing, labels and/or packaging industry will be a plus, but not necessary.
• Be flexible and adaptable to a challenging working environment.
• Immediate availability is an advantage.
