• Maintain and oversee GLP in the daily operation of analytical laboratory
• Perform chemical testing (e.g protein, total fat, moisture) of food product
• Operate, maintain and calibrate analytical instruments such as HPLC and GC
• Assist in HOKLAS preparation for analytical laboratory
• Handle the procurement of consumables, equipment and services
• Liaise with external vendors regarding equipment maintenance and qualification
• Validate, evaluate and verify inline & lab equipment calibration and estimate measurement uncertainty
• Develop and implement standard operation protocols
• Perform ad hoc projects and other duties as required

• Degree or above in Food Science, Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry or related discipline
• Minimum 3-4 years laboratory work experience preferably in the field of food testing
• Familiar with operating HPLC and GC
• Knowledge of HOKLAS and ISO/IEC 17025 will be an advantage
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Chemist
