This role is responsible for understanding detailed business requirements, define technology design within a solution/project and application/E-commerce solution delivery within a business domain.

Reports to: IT Director

Key Responsibilities

1. Delivery of high quality digital product or applications to the business
2. Be directly involved in implement solutions in an inhouse team with Agile environment
3. Perform the role of surrogate Product Owner / BU SME (generally Senior)
4. Coach Developer and Data Analyst/Business Analyst on any aspect of their role

Business Engagement

• Support pre-project consulting for a portfolio pipeline of digital initiatives
• Capture and communicate business process and detailed requirements
• Support business process change

Technology Design and Implementation

• Work closely with the developers, analyst and develop the best technical design. Conceptualize and propose solution approaches
• Planning, designing, developing, implementing, and supporting digital products and applications (CRM, B2C, POS, Finance) to meet the customer needs
• Provide an escalation point for solution analysts in order to deliver business solutions that include technology implementations and/or adaptations
• Recommends and implements simple continuous improvement of Software Development / Product Development
• Responsible for application maintenance and striving for continuous improvements within the application lifecycle

• Focus on enterprise application (CRM, Finance, Workflow) & E-Commerce (B2C)
• Initiate, define, plan and execute tasks / initiatives within project
• Test all solution aspects including but not limited to security, performance, integration
• Facilitate project progress through relevant gates
• Manage the day-to-day activities of the software development team and external 3rd parties as required

People Management

• Contribute to team resource planning
• Manage external 3rd parties as required

Requirements

• Degree qualification in Information Technology/Computer Science/System Engineering related discipline
• 5 to 8 years of related technology experience especially enterprise applications covering retail/F&B/Property industries
• Skills and experience of Software development, System analysis, Business analysis, Solution definition and System Testing
• Client facing experience with successful relationship management is a plus
• Proven verbal and written communication skill
• Professional, passionate, innovative, self-motivated and able to present solutions to diverse groups of stakeholders
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, leveraging both logic and creativity
• Solid software development skill is highly beneficial
