Job Description
Who are we?
We are an expanding FMCG company with headquarter in Japan and other sister companies in Asia focusing at personal care and household categories. We are now looking for a candidate with concrete and strong experience in brand building and communication to support the sustained growth of the company.
Job Responsibilities
Category Vision, Brand Building, Digital Communication
- Category Vision. Develop category vision and identify key drivers for company long term sustainable growth.
- Brand Management. Build and manage responsible brand to deliver sustainable sales and profit growth and in line with corporate strategic objectives.
- Brand Communication. Initiate consumer insight and research to build communication approaches. Communicate the brand message to consumers via mass media, product packaging to make consumers know, like, trust and buy the product.
- Budget and P&L Management. Governance of category budget. Drive & monitor effective spending through KPIs measurement. Manage category P&L, through a full understanding of product P&L in different channels. Adjust product mix and channel mix to achieve company objectives.
- Strategic Planning. Understand and deep dive business dynamics, independently conduct business analysis, such as market share, pricing, competition, retail, consumer segmentation, brand health, etc. to identify strategies and tactics to achieve company goals.
- Channel and Category Management. Work closely with Trade Marketing and Sales team on developing and evaluating effective channel promotions and assist in category management.
- New Product Launch. Independently manage new product development launch initiatives. New product development planning and execution including HUT, product claims, packaging, launch plan.
- Product Compliance. Make sure product claims and communications comply with laws and regulations.
- Inventory Management. Perform demand forecast, inventory planning and control.
- Customer Recruitment and Retention. Collaborate different parties to execute integrated campaign to achieve customer recruitment and retention and deliver high level customer service and customer satisfaction.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing & Business Administration, or related fields
- 10+ years marketing experience in FMCG industry, with proven track record of achievement
- Brand equity builder
- Good at communication, advertising, especially digital media
- Good at strategic planning
- High caliber with pro-activeness, result orientated mind-set with learning agility
Preferred Qualifications
- Working experience in digital communication field is a plus
