• Demonstrate a proficient level of language skill in English, Cantonese, Mandarin or Japanese
• Strong and consistent communication skills to build and nurture relationships with freelancers, rewriters, project managers and operational leadership as required to assist in meeting our delivery fulfilment deadlines
• Language curiosity, to take responsibility and ownership of staying up to date with culture, media and language of the target area
• Able to provide a strong delivery and operational leadership with an eye for detail. Edit text to established reading speeds, retaining the content and flavour of the source material, whilst ensuring that subtitles stay synchronised with the soundtrack and allow adequate access to picture and graphics

• Degree holder in Translation, Journalism, Language or related disciplines
• Practical work experience in media translation or proofreading is a MUST
• Excellent command of both written and oral Chinese, English and Mandarin
• Command of Japanese language is advantageous
• Strong sense of responsibility, able to work independently under minimum supervision
• Immediate available is highly preferred
