Our client is a global technology solution company. Continue expanding in Asia, they are looking for an experience procurement talent to join their regional procurement team in Hong Kong.
Responsibilities
- Expedite & defer PO as required, based on backlog inventory-changes, and oversee the effective delivery of end-to-end service from requisition handling to PO placement, tracking and PO close;
- Ensure that materials are delivered on schedule, at the negotiated price, and coordinates appropriate methods needed to distribute materials in an efficient and cost-effective manner:
- Maintain reports, such as master backlog, receiving log or any other reports relates to PO / inbound data on daily basis;
- Maintain accurate control of purchase orders, amendments, advanced shipment notices, and related document;
- Assist in coordinate allocation of supply to the regions with suppliers during times of shortage based on guidance from the Head of Business Operations;
- Contact with assigned suppliers relates to PO management and invoices. To streamline communication with suppliers and escalation around any issues with which they need assistance;
- Assist in maintain data updates e.g. lead-times, quotation, buyer and planner code and other master data elements as required in the company’s ERP system, Oracle;
- Assist in reconciling purchase order and invoice variances with Accounts Payable team as required;
- Work closely with technical, fulfillment team and 3rd Party Logistics providers for configuration / formatting schedule and on receiving discrepancies;
- Support in provide data / inputs, e.g. on time inbound delivery; or any new project performance index;
- Support in import / export declaration on weekly basis;
- Responsible for office administration, e.g. office / pantry supplies are well-stocked/replenish; apply petty cash to cover minor expenditures.
Requirement
- Diploma or above in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration
- Minimum 4 years working experience in procurement or order processing.
- Good data management and accuracy and work independently
- Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Must speak fluent English and Mandarin
