Responsibilities:

• Grow income from Major Donors and manage the entire cycle of Major Donors fundraising. This includes identification and prospect research; making the ask with concise writing of letters, applications/ proposals; and reporting.
• Contribute to additional Resource Development deliverables, particularly fundraising from foundations and churches;
• Provide support in the development of the office’s fundraising strategy and action plans;
• Contribute write-ups of China programme for organisation’s publications and website;
• Assist in sourcing and recruiting partners and professional volunteers to implement services and/or fund raising for Christian Action’s Programmes; 
• Perform any ad hoc duties as required by the supervisor.

 Requirements:

• Degree in Communications, Law, Marketing or relevant disciplines;
• At least 3-5 solid years of experience in Individual fundraising/ Marketing in a sizable NGOs or commercial sector; Preferably with fundraising experience in China;
• An independent, enthusiastic and energetic individual who is able to cultivate and pursue Christian excellence in our work and align with the Christian Vision, Mission and Core Values of Christian Action;
• Network with churches is an advantage;
• Good in spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua preferred).
• Ability to produce concise and creative bids; meticulous attention to detail; 
• Demonstrates ability to plan and prioritize own workload with minimum supervision;
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and work well under pressure; exhibit excellent team work.
• Comply with vaccine pass requirements and disease prevention measures of employer (get vaccinated)
