The Senior MS Engineer direct reports to our Solution Lead, MS & Cloud and works with a small but dynamic and highly skilled IT teams to perform the daily network operations and troubleshooting for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Serving as the first point of contact for end users in providing technical assistance by phone or email
• Troubleshooting networking incidents and problems that related but not limited to LAN and WAN network (LAN & Wi-Fi, Internet, MPLS VPN network, Load Balancing and WAN optimization) through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions remotely
• Determine the best solution based on the issues and details provided by users/self-diagnosis
• Direct the unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel and work closely with equipment manufacturers and vendors to resolve technical issues
• Install and configure networking operating system and appropriate software applications
• Monitor system and communication performance and utilization
• Perform networking equipment installation and migration.
• Provide primarily remotely and on-site support, logging into the network system and resolving or escalating to the appropriate support teams if needed
• Ensure all the resolution activities are documented in the system for audit trail
• 7 x 24 roster and allowance are offered
• Remote Work from Home (WFH) is allowed

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science / Information Technology or equivalent
• 3-5 years relevant experience on network implementation and troubleshooting operations
• Ability in providing technical advice on network infrastructure design and troubleshooting network problems
• Knowledge in Layer 2 & 3 protocols including VLAN, STP, OSPF, etc.
• Experience in designing and managing system level WAN, LAN and WiFi.
• Knowledge and Hands-on Experience in supporting Cisco, Aruba, Riverbed, NetScaler, Juniper and SolarWinds are preferred.
• Hands-on experience in Virtualization Technology (VMware vSphere)
• A holder of professional certifications (CCNP) is a must
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
• Customer centric and with Can-do attitudes
• Excellent communication skills with good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
