Our Information Technology Generalist - Practice Support team focuses on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing internal applications, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for PwC to drive strategic business growth.

Job Description & Responsibilities

The team is a mix of technical and business professionals and expects everyone involved to fix problems and address challenges of every kind. You will work closely with Client Stakeholders, Tech Leads, and internal subject matter specialists from prototype development, client feedback gathering, product launch and commercialisation. As the front end developer, you’ll create the interactive solution with excellent user experiences. ​

Responsibilities would include the following:​

• Develop, enhance, maintain and test web applications using modern web technology​
• Perform system development according to functional and technical requirements ​
• Working closely with product manager and web designers to create front-end UI/Template/Dashboard for internal and external clients​
• Participate in system and API design ​
• Work closely with different teams on system development and integration​

Reporting structure & key relationships 
​

The role will operate in a team of software product founders, business analysts, developers, tech leads, UX designers, marketers and sales specialists. ​

• Maintains strong working relationships with various internal digital teams ​
• Maintains strong working relationships with clients and team members.​

Requirements 
​

• University degree holder, preferably in Computer Science or related disciplines ​
• 2+ years of hands-on experience on application development is preferred. Candidates with less experience and fresh graduates are also welcome ​
• Knowledge in HTML, CSS and JavaScript Experience ​
• Knowledge in front-end component libraries, like AntDesign​
• Experienced in one or more front-end framework and libraries, including but not limited to Vue, React, Angular JS, Bootstrap, jQuery, Webpack etc. ​
• Experience in NoSQL database (eg. MongoDB) will be an advantage​
• Knowledge in other programming languages (eg. Java / C#) is a plus ​
• Knowledge of container and virtualization technologies (eg. Docker) is a plus ​
• Strong sense of responsibility and eager to learn ​
• Good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills ​
• Good command of spoken and written English​
