Responsibilities

• Lead the team to plan and implement effective local media publicity programmes to enhance public awareness of HKTB’s initiatives and drive local participation of HKTB’s mega events/campaigns
• Oversee and ensure delivery of quality publicity materials in support of events/campaigns
• Devise comprehensive engagement programmes to maximise positive engagement with stakeholders to enhance goodwill towards HKTB 
• Handle crisis management and communications for events/campaigns
• Provide media marshalling to company executives at events
• Conduct budget control and quality control on publicity programmes requested and funded by other divisions

Requirements

• A multifaceted seasoned and senior PR/Communications manager
• University graduate, preferably degree obtained in Marketing and PR, with a minimum of 12-year relevant working experience of which at least 5 years should be in managerial level
• Fully knowledgeable in all aspects of public relations, as well as management on project, budget, staff and crisis
• Sound knowledge in the tourism industry and be able to devise both short and long-term plans to support the PR strategy
• Solid background with proven track record in managing large-scale and high quality PR campaigns in HK
• Excellent relationship with media
• Skillful in senior level presentations, negotiations and relationship building
• Excellent command in both written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua
• Multi-tasking and be able to withstand stresses, changes and strains
