We are a dynamic in-house legal/company secretarial team within a well-established listed company.  We are currently looking for a Assistant Legal Manager / Senior Legal Officer to join us.

Responsibilities:

• Provide full-range legal support and services, including participation in M&A and other commercial transactions, ad hoc business development and financing projects;
• Assist in preparing, reviewing and vetting of contracts and other legal documents;
• Prepare announcements and circulars and attend to compliance work in Hong Kong, and assist in filing and reporting work in other jurisdictions;
• Assist in regulatory compliance management, including antitrust compliance, sanctions compliance and personal data protection compliance;
• Assist in providing legal and compliance support, training and updates to various business units;
• Assist in litigation and legal disputes management.

Requirements:

• Law degree holder;
• 3 - 6 years’ relevant experience gained from listed companies or law firms;
• Solid experience in drafting and reviewing legal documents;
• Working knowledge of the Main Board Listing Rules and other compliance regulations in Hong Kong and other jurisdictions;
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (fluency in Mandarin); sound PC skills in MS Word, Chinese Word Processing and MS Excel;
• Detail-oriented, hardworking, cooperative, patient and willing to take initiative and dedicated to work both independently and as a team player.
