Are you a law firm talent acquisition specialist, graduate recruitment manager or HR Manager with strong recruitment experience interested in a role with a global law firm that blends lateral hiring and graduate recruitment? This role could be for you!

As the primary contact for the Hong Kong office's experienced hires, you will be working closely with key internal (Head of HR, hiring partners) and external (agencies) stakeholders. In addition, this firm's graduate recruitment initiatives are increasingly targeting the US and the Greater Bay Area, and you will be actively handling these projects with the assistance of an HR Coordinator.

Reporting to the Head of HR, you will be given a high degree of autonomy to handle the full spectrum of talent acquisition for both lateral hires, graduate recruitment as well as clerkship and vacation placement programmes. This is a full-on, challenging, yet rewarding role where you will see the direct results of your efforts with the people who join this firm's large office in Hong Kong. This is also a great opportunity to be involved in employer branding that reaches well beyond the SAR.

WHAT

• Manage full recruitment cycle from screening CVs to on boarding for ALL levels of experienced staff.
• Be the key contact person with internal stakeholder and external recruitment agencies on the recruitment plans.
• Conduct the firm's salary survey in order to ensure the remuneration packages and benefits are competitive
• Manage the firm's Graduate Recruitment initiatives for both Hong Kong and giving support overseas
• Actively take part in employer branding initiatives (arranging University Career Talks, Career Fairs and Trainee programs)
• Continuously review training needs and design improvements and new training programmes
• Provide pastoral care to trainee solicitors  
• Handle the training contract registrations and liaise with the Law Society of Hong Kong.
• Participate in ad-hoc HR projects or duties, as when needed 

YOU

• Degree holder or tertiary qualifications in human resources or related discipline 
• At least 6 years’ experience in a Human Resources managerial role
• Experience with Law Society filings and graduate recruitment are a must

• Experience in legal or other professional services industries 
• Ability to handle large volumes of different tasks efficiently and on a timely basis
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
• Experience managing a small team, providing good levels of supervision, motivation and leadership
• Team player with passion and commitment to being the team leader but ability to work independently
• Proficiency spoken and written in English and Chinese, confident speaker (Cantonese or Mandarin dialect).
• Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
