Job Description

Location: Sheung Wan
Roles and responsibilities:
- Assist the SEO(SE) and HED to plan the annual visits (including the itinerary) of the TWGHs Student Ambassador Programme;
- assist the SEO(SE) to organize visits and exchange activities to the Mainland for the students of our 18 secondary schools;
- support the design works in the events and activities held by Secondary Education Section, such as Backdrop and Banner Design, Video Editing and souvenirs design, etc.;
- assist the SEO(SE) in planning and organizing professional training for the teachers, such as organizing visits to the Mainland, on-line training courses or meeting for the teachers in different subjects of our secondary schools; and
- provide various administrative and logistic services for the newly organized events or activities related to the National Security Education, National Education and Patriotic education.
- a recognized degree or equivalent;
- at least Grade D in English Language (Syl.B) and Chinese Language in the HKCEE or equivalent;
- preferably 4 years of post-qualification administrative experience;
- preferably experience in organizing events and programmes;
- proficiency in English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- good knowledge in word processing and other office application; and
- good organizational and interpersonal skills.
Compensation & employment terms:
The successful candidate will be appointed on contract terms with a remuneration package which will be commensurate with his/her background and experience. Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships. The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
Vaccine Pass requirements:
Job applicant (if appointed) will be required to enter or work in specified/other applicable premises under the Vaccine Pass and fulfill the Vaccine Pass requirements in accordance with the Prevention and Control of Disease (Vaccine Pass) Regulation (Cap. 599L) and as stipulated by the Hospital Authority/Education Bureau/Social Welfare Department/other authorities at any point of time during the course of employment.
