Responsibilities:

• Work on month end closing, prepare journal entries
• Ensure the monthly financial reports, reconciliation and analysis are prepared in an accurate manner
• Participate in IFRS 17 implementation and UAT
• Communicate and handle queries from different counter parties
• Assist in annual audit and SOX audit
• Support ad hoc matters as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Accounting or equivalent Completed HKICPA, ACCA examinations or equivalent is preferred
• Experienced in accounting field, preferably from insurance industry
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel * Able to handle tight time lines, willing to work independently and under pressure
• With a pro-active attitude, strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent in written and spoken English and Chinese
• Experience in SUN and SAP accounting systems would be an advantage
